My interest in photography began in 2008 through skateboarding. Seeing the photography in skateboarding magazines really intrigued me, so naturally taking photos of my friends skateboarding was my first step into the world of photography.
On an overseas trip in 2010, photography continued to broaden for me where I found myself shooting street, portraiture and landscapes, anything that caught my eye really.
Always keen on the outdoors, hiking, travelling, and visiting new locations, my photography interests gradually shifted towards shooting landscapes. I love exploring our natural environment as much as possible whether it be a location that I have visited multiple times or visiting a location for the first time, I always find enjoyment from this. In 2014 on another trip, it became more evident that landscape photography really took a hold and I found myself focusing solely on shooting the natural landscape.
Dramatic, cold, moody conditions are my favourite to be shooting in. The weather at these times can be very changeable with a good chance of unique imagery to be made. This always excites me.
I hope you enjoy browsing through my various galleries of landscape images.
